We had a wonderful time, the walks were wonderful with the most exquisite views. I am South African and I never dreamt it would be that beautiful and so untouched.
The process with hotels and shuttle service was very smooth. Our shuttle driver Thembi was fantastic and so funny and a great start to the adventure
Ranger Hike

A hike for the fit and adventurous in traditional African
scenery. Starting from
Haven Hotel
on the Mbashe river the walk takes you over the river by rowboat
followed by a beautiful beach walk through the remote Dwesa
Reserve and along some grassy paths to end a long day's hike of
25km at the magnificent
Nqabara Eco-Lodge. The second day's walk of about 21km takes you to Kob Inn
along a wild coastline with long beaches and some grassy hills.
There is one river crossing at Shixini mouth and from there it
is a easy walk to Kob Inn for your 3rd night.
The tour is fully guided and catered but hikers are expected to
carry their own bags for the 2 days. Shuttles are arranged from
the end point (Kob Inn) back to your start point at Haven hotel.
